Colton's First Shiner

According to Evan, it's the first of many. Hopefully not that many. Colt and Cade were playing in the backyard yesterday afternoon and when Colt came in for a water break, I saw this.

What's so funny is he had absolutely NO idea he had a black eye! How do you get hit hard enough in the face to get a black eye and have no recollection of how it happened?! Oh and the best part...tomorrow is picture day.

Your boy is a tough cookie to not even notice! Jen was babysitting for some kids a long time ago and they took a serious tumble right before picture day. They looked like they had been in a car accident. Oh, well. Totally memorable picture day, eh? Such a cutie! Can't wait to squeeze him in person!

Aw! Poor guy, then again, apparently he didn't know what hit him so... too funny. Loved the pumpkin patch pics, look at you out and about and looking adorable! woo hoo!!

got a good halloween costume to go with that? certainly makes him look tough! frankly, even I (capitalized and underlined) don't want to meet him in a dark alley.

And that is one of the many differences between boys and girls- some kid punches him...they keep playing. That is so sad about school pictures...thank heaven for "retake" day!

have I really been so behind on commenting on your blog? REmember when I came out and visited? Yea - that needs to happen more often. Remember how you still haven't visited me?

Just kidding.

So fun - I LOVED it. Cannot WAIT for Christmas - for real. I'm so excited to get you and your cute family here to play with us!
