Another addition to the family

A big congrats is in order for my littlest sis Heather who got engaged last night! Her fiance, Todd, really outdid himself on the proposal. I'm thinking Todd was taking notes from the ever popular show, The Bachelor, because you know...there was a helicopter involved.
And chocolate covered strawberries. And a carriage ride. And a candlelit dinner at one of the nicest restaurants in Salt Lake. Todd, are you sure you're not a closet Bachelor lover? After learning the details of the romantic night, my comedian of a brother-in-law Logan mentioned that with Todd coming into the family now, he and Evan are in trouble. Big, deep, serious trouble. Evan has requested that I never compare notes with Heather on Valentine's Day, Anniversaries, Christmas, St. Patty's Day, Arbor Day, etc. Heather has definitely engaged herself to a man who knows how to put the romance into a gesture. I'm excited to have Todd join the family. Not just because he can now offer the men in our family workshops on love, but because he's one of the nicest, most genuine guys I know. Good job H!

On that note, the wedding is set for July 9th in San Diego. For those keeping track, Evan and I have an uncanny ability to plan the arrival of our children around the same time my siblings want to get married. Remember three years ago when my brother got married? Here I am at Adam and Valerie's reception three weeks before we met Cade (which reminds me...Happy Anniversary Adam and Val!)
Obviously I am very photogenic and absolutely love my picture being taken when heavy with child. Fast forward three years later and I will be attending Todd and Heather's wedding with a belly about this size. And probably in this same shirt since it'll be the only one fitting by then. With Cade making his debut in under four hours and an almost five hour flight to San Diego, let's just hope for the best shall we?

Congrats to Heather. That's so exciting. Your parents must be so happy. I remember at your wedding, I was talking to your dad just outside of the temple, and he said, "one down, three to go." Well, you're all there. Congrats. And I so want to hear the details of Heather's proposal. Sounds amamzing. Good luck with the flight so close to baby's arrival. I hope your doctor doesn't want to kill you with it being so close to your due date as my sister-in-law's doctor did with her.

Ha! I saw all the Facebook posts about Heather a few days ago. Congrasts to her!

And the proposal? Wow! May I point out the fact that my husband literally tossed me a ring after he came home from playing basketball with the dudes. Sigh... then again, I like a manly man, and would probably not be attracted to my husband had he pulled up in a carriage. It would have raised awkward questions in my mind...

And consider the baby bump your present to your sisters. Hop in all the photos so they don't have to suck it in quite so much on their wedding day. ;)

Well you look GREAT in that pic, so if that's how you'll look in your sister's wedding pics, I wouldn't be too worried about how you look....now as far as bring gone so close to delivery, THAT would make me nervous! Good luck! And congrats to your sister...really, she is old enough to get married?!?!?!

YAY for your sis! And a helicopter? Wow he really pulled out all the stops. I'm so excited for her. And PS, if that's how big you look being 36 weeks prego I'm jealous. You make me at 36 weeks look like a whale. :)

Being pregnant at a wedding is better then having a 3 week old baby and still looking pregnant :) But all the same, not so much fun. I have just 16 days left...I am already going crazy with the waiting! Hope you are feeling well with this pregnancy.

Hmmm...Kelly Flint obviously doesn't know our Doc.

Anyway, the rest of everyone say just what I was...serious? That's you at 3 weeks before you deliver? Welcome to my 4 months pic. I know pregnant feels like pregnant no matter how big you are, but as far as pics go, you'll pass with flying colors.

Well this def proves I should be your favorite sibling since I got married when you definitely were NOT prego! And you had Colton sleeping through the night already. Yes, I was all about thinking of others when we planned our date. Heather should take lessons from me. Haha j/k. Sorta.

At least everyone is telling you how great you look, because you do!!!!! When my bro-in-law got married and I was exactly 2 weeks away from delivering Gavin (unbeknownst to me of course) I was a freaking baluga. The mother of all whales. And mom is probably reading this thinking it's true and how swollen I was. And then Landon just nods sympathetically when he sees pics of mr at the wedding because he felt bad with how huge I was. And ugly. Oh man it was rough. Most peoples stomachs were basketballs and mine face resembled that more than me stomach.

But logans delivered babies- so you're in good hands at the wedding eight??? Awkward as that would TOTAllY be. Ew.

And soooo excited for Todd to enter the fam, but more for the love workshops than anything. Ps surprised log with Brian regan tickets last night. He loved it and Brian was soooo fabulous!! I sometimes should've married myself......hahahha. What?

pregnancy makes you funnier and funnier!!! love workshops? oooo baby! sign ryan up!
heather is one lucky girl, although helicopters are kind of scary than airplanes and oceans full of sharks combined!!! she's a daredevil.
and hello! why have you kept this last picture from me??? HEEEEE-LARIOUS! pretend guns to the head is classic rebecca- i love it! and let me be completely honest, cause i always am....
before i read the caption, i thought this was a CURRENT picture of you because you have such a TINY ADORABLE belly!!!!! HOW ARE YOU ABOUT DUE?????????????
THIS is why I feel like a COW, a huge mama heifer when I am "heavy with child", because I literally am HEAVY, you girlfriend, whatever, you're movie star CUTE pregnant, and its a little irritating.
Now, lets keep my newest favorite baby girl nice and cozy until you return home, although the horror of your brother in law delivering you would make a great story. hmmmmmmmm.
you're a great big sister!!!
now lets see a REAL current picture!

Congrats to Heather! That's awesome- not about you being so pregnant at the wedding, but about her getting married. :-)And to chime in with all previous posts, you do look great in that pic. I CAN'T WAIT to see you guys in just a few weeks. It's been too long.

Um, oh my gosh, that is one heck of a proposal, and are you kidding me?? Is Heather really old enough to be getting married?? I just can't believe it. But this Todd sure sounds fabulous and how could he not be? Congrats Heather!

Oh and Cory got married one week before I had Carson. Um yeah, lets just say I burned those pictures and was pretty uncomfortable, but how could I miss it? I went against doctor's orders but it all turned out okay in the end. :)
